My 10 Favorite Brunch Foods

Lots of people enjoy a good brunch and with Easter coming up so quickly I thought it would be a great idea to throw together a list of my favorite brunch recipes from around the web.

When I do brunch at home I like to make it buffet style so that there are a variety of choices and so people can munch as they please. In order to accomplish this I really need food that I can prep ahead of time so I’m not stuck in the kitchen the whole morning. I want to enjoy my brunch as well!

1. Maple Glazed Cinnamon Scones

I love that these use heavy cream as the fat instead of needing to cut in butter. It makes pulling them together so much simpler! And the maple glaze is simply amazing. I’m pretty sure I was eating it with a spoon.

2. Eggs Benedict Casserole

This casserole is what originally turned Micah into a hollandaise lover. He definitely gets excited when this makes an appearance on the menu. This works really well as an after Easter meal so you can use up some leftover ham.

3. Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake with Cream Cheese Glaze

We are BIG cinnamon roll fans in this house. I think I make them or some variation of a cinnamon roll at least once a month. This coffee cake has those classic flavors without the long wait due to rise times. And cream cheese frosting? YOM!

4. Tater Tot Breakfast Bake

This one is a huge hit with most of the family. One of our kids tends to turn his nose up at it despite loving all the ingredients. Don’t know what that’s about since this is absolutely fantastic! I love that it only uses four eggs for a 9×13 pan so I can make it even when I’m starting to run low. We’ve changed up the meat between ham, sausage, or both plus added mushrooms on occasion. You can customize this to whatever your tastes are which is the greatest part of egg bake!

5. Baked Sausage, Egg, and Spinach Breakfast Taquitos

Handheld food is a big hit for brunch in my book. Add some great salsa and sour cream and these are perfect!

6. Biscuit & Gravy Casserole

Part of me could eat biscuits and gravy every day. It’s another breakfast dish that makes it on the menu monthly for both breakfast and dinner. It’s comfort food and fantastic. Put it in a casserole? Brilliant!

7. Customizable Granola Cups

Sometimes we need to take a step back from the over indulgence of many brunch foods to bring in some healthier options. These little granola cups are perfect? I love how each person can top them with whatever they choose. I’ll take all the berries, please!

8. Potato Bacon Egg Breakfast Casserole

Potatoes and eggs go together like… um… like all things delicious! My metaphor button is broken apparently. But my tasty button is not and this hits it every time 🙂

9. Pull Apart Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Rolls

Making all the egg sandwiches at one time? Brilliant! I usually have to stand at the stove flipping sausage patties and eggs for each person but not with this brilliant recipe. And these are little enough that you can enjoy some other brunch foods as well!

10. Million Dollar Bacon

Brunch just wouldn’t be complete without bacon! And look at the loads of brown sugar going on this bacon before it melts. Plus a little bit of heat to balance it out? Superb. This bacon can also bring an average burger up to the next level. Seriously. Try it.

What other foods do you enjoy for Easter brunch or any brunch? Do you have a go-to recipe to share?
