Weekly Menu Plan #15

I love menu planning and seeing other’s dinner plans! I’m weird like that 😉 As I’ve shared before, being in the kitchen is my happy place so I love finding meals that are new but I also never forget our favorites! These will link to the author’s original recipe unless it’s my own recipe/creation that I don’t have a link for… yet.

Sunday: No clue! Family is still in town and I’m not sure what the plan is yet. Going out? Staying in? Up in the air at this point but food is never in short supply with family around so I’m sure we will find or do something delicious.

Monday: Pork Carnitas – Remember the pork I told you about for Cinco de Mayo? I froze a bunch in quart sized bags so we could enjoy it later. It’s been almost a month so I say it’s totally okay to add to the menu again 😉

Tuesday: Creamy Chicken Taquitos – These haven’t been on the menu in several weeks either plus apparently I’m on a “Mexican” food kick? I just know I like salsa and avocados and need food to go with those.

Wednesday: Potato Cheese and Ham soup – It’s supposed to be thunderstormy and gloomy so I decided I’d throw in some comfort food. And I have a ham bone in my freezer that I’m going to attempt to make broth with this time around. If the broth doesn’t work I’ll go with my fail safe chicken broth base but I figure it’s worth a try!

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Homemade Pizza and Movie Night

Saturday: Sweet & Sour Pork with “Fried” Rice – I’ve got a chunk of pork loin in the freezer that needs to get used up so we will dice it and bread it just like the chicken.

What’s on your menu this week? Any recipes to share with me?
