Weekly Menu Plan #31

I love menu planning and seeing other’s dinner plans! I’m weird like that 😉 As I’ve shared before, being in the kitchen is my happy place so I love finding meals that are new but I also never forget our favorites! These will link to the author’s original recipe unless it’s my own recipe/creation that I don’t have a link for… yet.

Sunday: BBQ Chicken Pizza – This is a request from Jamison and I was happy to add it to our menu this week!

Monday: Lo Mein – It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve had stir fry and we are still getting fresh veggies from our church’s community garden so this is a great way to use them up!

Tuesday: Homemade Salad Bar – I’ve got loads of different salad toppings so everyone can create a salad that they will love. I’m amazed at how much Anders loves salad! What not even two year old gobbles up lettuce but leaves muffins on his plate?

Wednesday: Nachos – This was a HUGE hit with the kids the last time we made them so I knew they’d be excited to see it on the menu again. And really, chips with cheese, refried beans, guac, sour cream, and salsa could be my dinner every night and I’d be totally cool with it. Yeah, totally cool. Who needs real food?

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Homemade Pizza and Movie Night – you can find my pizza crust recipe here.

Saturday: Enchilada Pasta – This is usually a weeknight meal because it’s so easy to throw together but because of Micah’s work schedule anything made on a weeknight he has to reheat no matter what. Occasionally I like to make these meals on a weekend so he can try them fresh and not as leftovers!

What’s on your menu this week? Do you have any meals that the kids rave about so you make to see the joy on their faces?
