What are you struggling with right now? I’ll tell you my struggle…

We all struggle with something. I know it’s easy to look at Miss Sally down the street and think since she wears heels every day and her hair always looks great that clearly her kids are fantastic because she has time to look great. But maybe she hates how often they order take out because she can’t seem to get the hang of meal planning and grocery shopping.

And maybe that mom living in dirty yoga pants is feeling maxed out with adding a new baby and her older kid is really struggling to adjust to a new role in the family. She’s feeling lost and stressed with all that everyone needs from her so she’s ignoring her own needs.

That couple talking quietly over coffee is finally on their first date after years of ignoring their marriage and trying to find a way back to what brought them together in the first place.

None of us is without struggle. We all need help, encouragement, and advice in different areas. I know I do! When I was getting overwhelmed with keeping up with household tasks I found Stacy at Humorous Homemaking and found a way to make a home routine work for our family. Is it perfect? Nope. But it’s so much better! Her course helped significantly and I’m so thankful that I felt the nudge to go through it.

So what are you struggling with? What area of your life do you feel you need to gain some help or advice on?

What if you could have a resource library at your fingertips that is filled with information for just about every area you could name off for the above question?

That is what the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle is all about. Putting all the resources you could need in your hands at the best price possible.

I’ve been going through this bundle for myself and already I have at least ten of the ebooks downloaded to my tablet (plus I finished one in about a day!), I’ve started one of the courses, and I’ve printed off a few workbooks. I am pumped about this bundle.

I’ll be honest. My biggest struggle at home with five kids spaced six years apart and a husband that works long days is my own darn temper. I always thought I was a pretty easy going person that didn’t really have buttons to push… and then I had kids.

I remember the day I knew I needed to find something to help me. The kids were going nuts instead of eating dinner. Fights, goofing off, yelling. I couldn’t take it. I threw a fork across the room. It was a plastic kid fork and I threw it away from everyone but it was still out of line. I apologized to the kids and explained that Mommy made a bad choice. That even though I was upset I was still in control of my choices. You know, the stuff we as parents drill into our kids all the time.

When I discovered Lisa-Jo Baker’s ecourse, The Temper Toolkit: How to Take Control of Your Temper Before You Lose it! was included in this year’s Ultimate Homemaking Bundle? That completely sold me on the whole dang thing. This course was on sale last year, on its own, for $29. I wanted it then but I didn’t have the spare cash for it.

This course made the whole bundle worth it for me. I’ve been soaking up Lisa-Jo’s wisdom and yelling, “Yes! Me too!” at the screen over and over. She gets it, you guys. Like honest to goodness knows what it’s like to completely lose it over stupid crap and then wonder where the heck that monster came from.

With Biblical support for her teachings Lisa-Jo shares stories as well as helpful practices to change your anger from dictator anger to indicator anger. After all, anger is part of being created in the image of God! It’s what we do with that anger that gets us in trouble. I’m really looking forward to finishing this course and using the tools to change the way I use my anger.
