Check out this collection of graphic tees for Christian women and mothers. Get yourself a shirt that reminds you to choose joy (even when the kids are bouncing off the walls) or find one that points your heart right back to Christ, every time you wear it. These shirts make excellent Mother’s Day gifts, birthday and Christmas gifts, or just because!
There are some hilarious graphic tees out there about mom life. But some of them speak to a less than awesome side. Some might even portray a negative light on motherhood. Is motherhood always easy? For goodness sakes, NO! But it’s a privilege, whether we came to it biologically, through adoption, through blended families, or whatever – motherhood is incredible.
Part of my mission here at My Joy in Chaos has always been to help women see that while life can be crazy and make us want to pull our hair out it’s also so wonderful. We have been chosen for these little people, picked for this time, in this place. We need to shine His light and remember that we are called to this.
So without further ado, here are 20+ shirts that can help us spread light and love as we embrace our role as mothers, chaos coordinators, and teachers of the next generation. Click the title of the shirt or the picture of it to get taken to where you can buy it for yourself – or leave it in your cart as a hint to your hubby 😉
Graphic Tees for Christian Moms
Embrace the Chaos & Choose Joy
I think this shirt was secretly made just for me. It’s basically the motto around here! My sister gave me this shirt for Christmas and it inspired me to see what other awesome and positive motherhood shirts were available. After all, there will always be chaos so let’s embrace it and choose joy because God is good!
Choose Joy
Again, I want to choose joy. Not because life is easy or I’m always happy. Joy is a fruit of the spirit, not an emotion. I can be joyful because of Him.
Not Today Satan, Not Today
Some days can feel overwhelming and we simply need a reminder that He who is for us is greater than he who is against us. Not today, Satan. God’s got me.
Mama Wife Blessed Life
So incredibly blessed to be a mama and a wife!
Blessed Mama
After back to back miscarriages I know how blessed I am to have five children here on earth. I am a blessed mama!
Mom | Call Me Blessed | Proverbs 32:28
Her children rise up and call her blessed. Proverbs 31:28
Raising Arrows Psalm 127:3-5
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. Psalm 127:3-5
Messy Bun & Jesus Kinda Day
This is me, all day, every day. It’s rare for my hair to be down and even when I want it down, I end up throwing it up because it’s nearly impossible to get anything done when my hair won’t stay out of my way. Messy bun is where it’s at – and a whole lotta Jesus!
This Mom Runs on Coffee and Jesus
I heard a speaker recently that said her prayer each day is to need Jesus more than she needs coffee. Amen! But I still really love coffee and love my time sipping coffee while spending time with Jesus.
Raising Little Disciples
I will consider my life a success if my children choose to follow Jesus. I want to live a life that inspires them to chase after our Savior.
She is Strong | Proverbs 31:25
The Proverbs 31 woman is an excellent example for us to follow. She uses her gifts and talents from the Lord to provide for her family. Proverbs 31:25 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” Let us be that woman!
Praying Mama
Prayer is the strongest weapon I have for my kids. I can’t force them to choose a life with Christ, but I can pray for them and that’s better than anything else. I pray for their hearts, I pray for their minds, I pray for their choices, their friends, and their future spouses. I am a praying mom.
Beloved | Jeremiah 31:3
God loves us with an everlasting love. He calls us His. We are beloved by God. Wow.
But First, Pray
Before we run off and start making plans, before we jump in and try to fix things, we must first pray. Our gut reaction is not always the right choice. That idea we have might not be what God wants. Or it might be exactly what He wants! But first, pray.
Embrace the Good

There is good in every single day. Even in the midst of hardship, God is still there. Even in heartache or pain, God is still there, and there is still good. Find it, embrace it, and thank God for it.
Wake Pray Love

Repeat, every day. I love waking up in the morning with a song of praise on my lips. It doesn’t happen every day but those days when I wake up singing or praying seem to go so much better because I’m getting out of bed focused on Jesus. And love – it’s what we are called to do. We aren’t called to make millions or build skyscrapers or something else on a huge scale. We are called to love those around us. Period. Wake, pray, love, repeat.
By Grace Alone

I am only who I am because of grace. God loved me enough to have Jesus die for me. It is by grace alone that I can claim I am His and do the work He has called me to do.
Be Light

We should be shining examples of Christ to the world. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Livin on a Prayer
Ah, Bon Jovi. This song always makes me think of ab work at the dance studio but that doesn’t mean I can’t put this phrase into practice. I’m living life on a prayer. I need to be praying, simply talking to God, all through my day.
Jesus Loves This Hot Mess
I’m a sinner, saved only because of grace. I screw up on a daily basis but Jesus still loves me. Man, that feels good!
Wife Mom Conqueror
Romans 8:37 says we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Conquerors! So yes, the world may see you as only a wife or mom, but you know your true identity in Christ and how it informs all your other titles.
It Is Well With My Soul
The story of this song always chokes me up. I want to have the faith that says even if I lose everything, absolutely everything, that it is well with my soul. Sometimes I need that reminder that the spilled milk or dented wall is not as important as I think it is in the moment.
Be Still
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalm 37:7
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
In this crazy, fast paced, rush, rush, rush, world we need this reminder – over and over and over. Be still. Be still. Be still.
So many incredible shirts out there! I already had several of these on my Amazon wish list or sitting in my cart at DaySpring and Cents of Style but now I think I’ll need to add a few more after doing this post! These would make great Mother’s Day gifts so pass on the word or buy one for the amazing moms in your life!
I really like these, but I went to order and only saw they go up to XL. Is there a way to special order a 3XL? I’d really like them all, but the "runs on coffee and Jesus" is my first choice. Thanks!
Hi April! I’m so glad you enjoy these shirts 😀
I searched on Amazon and it looks like there are a few options if you want to order a 3XL with that saying. I didn’t see women’s fit shirts in that size though, only the men’s cut, which would be more like a regular tee.
